BITSAT
The BITSAT is called as Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test is a university level entrance test organized by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. It is organized to provide admission in first year degree in various UG and PG programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharma and M.Sc. courses. It is one of the most sought university entrance exam for the students wishing to get admission in BITS campuses. The exam is conducted through CBT (Computer Based Test).
BITSAT Eligibility Criteria specifies about the eligible conditions, which need to be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates in order to be eligible for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria of BITSAT include factors like age, qualifying marks and qualifying exam, number of attempts, etc.
Candidate should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam (from any state or central board of school education) with 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. They also need to have secured 60% marks separately in each of the three subjects. Proficiency in English is another requirement for appearing in BITSAT, Only those candidates, who are appearing in class 12th or have cleared 12th, are eligible for BITSAT, Top rankers or candidates with Rank 1 in the central or state boards in India will be offered admissions to the programmes of their choice, irrespective of their score/rank in BITSAT, but must meet the aforesaid eligibility criteria. Candidates who are already party of BITS campus are not allowed to apply, candidates must have adequate proficiency in English.
The exam pattern for Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test are as follows – the exam will be conducted through online mode that is computer based mode, the question paper will consists of four sections, the exam duration will be 3 hours, the question paper will comprises of 150 objective type questions, marking scheme for each correct response 3 marks will be awarded and 1 marks will be deduced for each incorrect response,
