In the past, when the automobiles and other vehicles were not invented, some animals were used for transportation. Those animals include, donkey, camel, elephant, horse etc. the most useful and important one was horse, which is also a pet animal. People used to travel from one place to other via horses because it was comfortable and fast way of traveling those days. Not only for traveling, horse was also used for transferring luggage from one place to other. But camel was more useful in desert areas. Despite this, horse had very much importance in ancient culture, society and economy.

In ancient times, horses had very much importance in wars, because it was the sign of power, if a party had more horses, there was more chance of victory for that party. Horse was also the sign on wealth that time; more wealthy people had more horses of different kinds. People used horse as a source of trade between two countries. Horses not only had the important role in the past, but also have much importance today. Usually, horses are found in black, white and brown colors but some types of horses has two or more colors , for example a type of horse is black n white.

Horse is also important animal according to some cultural and religious values. In some areas, horse is symbol of culture, for example, horse has very much value in Mongolian culture because they think horse as a sign of spirituality. A very famous game, Polo is played on horse, so this animal has also its value according to sports point of view. Many people are fond of horse riding and many are using horses for their daily income, for example in hilly areas, where the automobiles cannot be used, so the native people provide horses on rent so that the visitors can be facilitated.Animals are innocent creations, if we handle them with love, they can be our good friends also.
