Vegetarian means, one who use only vegetables in his meals and don’t use meat products. Healthy and vitamin rich vegetable using as food are best for bodily health therefore a big part of the world’s population is vegetarian. The vegetarian’s point of view is that the vegetables have no risk of disease while eating meat foods can prove to be bad for health, and this point is valid to some extent because the diseased vegetable can be recognized by its look but diseased meat or chicken is difficult to distinguish.

The World vegetarian day was first celebrated by North American Vegetarian Society in 1977 and then celebrated by International vegetarian Union in 1978 on October 1st to promote the happiness and joy of being a vegetarian, and after that, World vegetarian Day is celebrated each year.

Vegetarian actually do not take a single bite of any type of meat, chicken, and pork. There are also some reasons behind this avoid. Sometimes a person is vegetarian because of his ethical concerns that he do not want to hurt any animal. Another reason is religious views, because some religions do not allow slaughtering animals and their usage as food. One more reason, the vegetarian may be allergic to meat and chicken. There are also such people who are vegetarians by birth and other factors don’t affect them.
A vegetarian is happier foodie than others because he/she has no tension of slaughtering, washing, marinating meat. An important benefit to vegetarians is that they are not affected by meat, pork oriented diseases. A study showed that many types of cancer are caused by the use of unhygienic meat and pork. Many animals are affected by some viral diseases which can be transferred to human beings.
There no doubt about the delicious taste of meat and chicken products but nothing is good than health. The purpose of celebrating world vegetarian day is to highlight the health benefits of vegetables and to spread the message that nothing is best than a fresh natural food.
